This is a twelve weeks’ intern experience, when preservice teachers can experience the intern experience of being a teacher. My function was to provide feedback, nurturing the novices and provide with appropriate decisions for the best interest of the programme. Observing lessons and provide with appropriate feedback to help progression.
Action Research Mentor (Year 4, Internship Students) – While preservice teachers were based in their local schools, they had to conduct a research of their choice. During this twelve weeks’ period, I was mentoring nine learners. I had also to provide feedback not only to their lessons but also to their individual research, enabling each learner a reflective praxis.
